Products FAQ

Fillers

  • What are some of the benefits of this procedure?

Minimal downtime, immediate results, and reversible.

  • What are the risks associated with hyaluronic fillers?

While millions of dermal-filler procedures have been safely performed, this is a medical

procedure and there are risks. The most important ones to consider are:

     1) infection, especially if the procedure is not performed under clean conditions

     2) hypersensitivity reaction that can result in redness, swelling, and/or nodule formation

    3) compromise of the vascular system, which can rarely result in blood not being able to flow to the skin or, much more rarely, the eye.

  • What should I expect before the procedure?

With the procedure, you can expect a Topical anesthetic to be applied, or a dental block is

    performed, prior to treatment.

Toxins

  • What should I expect when having this procedure?

The procedure usually takes about 20 minutes. Typically, our Dysport patients experience little

to no downtime; however, we advise patients not to lie down for at least four hours after

treatment, and to not rub the treated areas.

As with all aesthetic procedures, the most critical part is coming up with the right plan for the right patient. We customize every wrinkle-reducer treatment by observing your face at rest and with movement. By analyzing which facial expressions you use most often, they can soften your expressions and also prevent the wrinkles that ultimately form from such movement.

After observing your natural expressions, we will create a plan that gives you the most benefit from this treatment. After taking photographs, we cleanse your skin, and we can begin your treatment. The Dysport is injected directly into the muscles using a tiny needle. Afterward, you may have some small bumps on your skin.

  • What are the risks associated with Toxins?

Risks will depend upon the area being injected. For example, treatment of horizontal forehead lines can result in dropping of the brows or an accentuation of the wrinkle right above the

    eyebrow
